Aleena Ahmed is a poet from McLean, Virginia. She has an adoration for the arts in every form, but has found herself most intrigued in poetry where she seeks to bend and push the boundaries of language. Aleena is a Scholastic national gold medalist; she was the student council president of her last school and is currently on the leadership board of her local chapter of the nonprofit Medlife. When she’s not engaging in mentally stimulating conversation, you can find her deep in thought contemplating the significance of Batman’s legacy.
