Submission Guidelines
Submissions are always free + open! We accept prose, poetry, and art from creators of all ages and include feedback for writers aged 13-22!
Prose –
One (1) or two (2) works up to five pages total, single-spaced in Arial or Times New Roman font. Fiction and creative nonfiction allowed. Send as a .pdf or .docx file.
Poetry –
One (1) to three (3) poems, up to ten pages total, in Arial or Times New Roman font. Any form or style is permitted. Send as a .pdf or .docx file (or as a google document for complicated formatting).
Art –
One (1) to five (5) pieces of art. All mediums accepted, both color and/or black-and-white. Send images as .jpg or .png files.
Send all submissions with a brief bio and last name/medium in the subject line (ex. LASTNAME – ART). If you are between the ages of 13-22, include ‘NEW WINGS’ in the subject line before your name. If you wish to submit work across more than one medium, please send a separate email for each one.

All themes/topics are welcome with content warnings if necessary! No NSFW, please.
Please send all works in English. You may include passages or phrases in a different language so long as a translation is provided.
Response time is within two months.
If chosen, we ask that you grant us First North American archival and publishing rights. All rights revert back to the creator upon publication. Simultaneous submissions are accepted, as are previously published works with the original publisher disclosed in the submission.
We are unable to pay our contributors at this time.
